FAQs

  • Associations Like RESA, HSRA, IAHSP: Advocating for the Industry

Associations such as RESA, HSRA, and IAHSP represent the whole staging industry, regardless of market. They provide education, connect members with accredited training, and promote industry development.

Industry Associations’ Events: Optional but Beneficial

RESAcon, HSRA Summit, and IAHSP Conference & Expo are all fantastic learning platforms, hosting industry-leading speakers. Although these events are optional, they offer invaluable opportunities to members.

    The Staging Collective: Tailored Approach

The Staging Collective differs from associations like RESA. We support one stager per major market, focusing on creating competitive advantages and differentiating our stager in their specific market. Our goal? To rise above the competition.

The Staging Collective Membership: Collaborative Support

The Staging Collective provides collaborative support, leveraging our members' experience and expertise. We provide weekly education content based on real current events and challenges. Each member's unique strengths are valued and leveraged for collective growth.

The Best Stagers, One Definitive Recommendation

The Staging Collective gathers the best stagers in the US and Canada under one platform. We market these individual stagers and their services, providing one definitive recommendation for clients in their regions.

    Strict Standards, High-Quality Services

Our Collective stagers are held to rigorous standards. They represent the highest quality of service and customer experience. Regular audits ensure The Collective's reputation remains top-tier.

    Our Annual Meeting: A Must-Attend

Unlike optional events of RESA, HSRA, and IAHSP, The Staging Collective's annual meeting is a requirement. This crucial meeting aligns our strategy and approach for the upcoming year.

Selective Participation: The Best of the Best

The Staging Collective is selective, only accepting stagers ready to participate at a high level within our community. This exclusivity helps maintain our high standards and reputation.

The Staging Collective: Unique, Not a Competitor

The Staging Collective isn't in competition with RESA, HSRA, or IAHSP; instead, we're offering a unique model. A model where we can help each other rise, where each one of us can thrive, and where, together, we can shape the future of home staging.

  • The total annual cost of The Staging Collective is $11,000, which is comprised of the event fee and the 12-month membership. We require a deposit of $3,500 at the time of acceptance. The remainder of the $7,500 is allocated equally over the remainder of the year at $625 per month.

  • If membership with The Staging Collective does not work for you in the current year, we encourage you to reapply in future years as your specific market allows. To create a safe environment for transparency and knowledge sharing, The Staging Collective only accepts one staging company to represent each market. That market remains unavailable to new members until the current member vacates their spot in The Collective. To the extent that your market is currently represented but you want to be considered in the future, please go ahead and submit an application and we will keep you abreast of any changes in your market.

  • Company attendance at the annual meeting is mandatory for membership in The Staging Collective; however, we do not require that distinguish who within the member organization needs to attend. While membership extends over a 12-month period, the knowledge sharing, engagement and camaraderie at the annual meeting is irreplaceable.

  • The annual meeting takes place this year in St. Louis, Missouri from October 3rd - 5th, 2024. Company representation is required for membership into The Staging Collective. Following the annual meeting, the Collective membership meets virtually each week for one hour for interactive and educational sessions discussing pressing topics for our home staging industry, including, but not limited to, strategy, pricing, marketing, design, and warehouse organization.
